This policy covers Inkhorn, a game by atumApps for iOS and Android. Inkhorn has no accounts and no ads, and does not ask for your name, email address or any other contact details.

Anonymous gameplay stats. To help us balance the game, Inkhorn sends us anonymous gameplay stats. These consist of a random identifier created when the app is first launched (it is not linked to you, your device's advertising ID or any account, and reinstalling the app creates a new one), details of the games you play (such as the words you play, your scores, and the cards and settings in use), the app version, and whether you are playing on iOS or Android.

Sharing these stats is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous gameplay stats. Once it is off, the app stops sending stats and discards any that were waiting to be sent.

Storage and retention. The stats are stored by our hosting provider, Supabase. As with any internet service, the hosting provider may briefly process your IP address in its request logs when the app connects; we do not store IP addresses with the gameplay stats. The stats are kept indefinitely. Because they are anonymous and cannot be tied to an individual, we are unable to find or delete the stats belonging to a particular person. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

On your device. Your progress and settings are saved on your device only. Inkhorn needs internet access to send the stats described above, and requests no other device permissions.

Achievements. In order to access optional achievements, users must login with their Game Center account (handled by Apple) or their Google Play Games account (handled by Google).

Purchases. Inkhorn is a paid download. The payment transaction is handled by Apple or Google, and we never see your payment details.
